Invest in Chicago Metro Real Estate

So you are you interested in purchasing investment real estate in Chicago? I work heavily with investors in the Chicago market, and would like to add you to my client list. Whether you are just curious, or ready to buy right away, let me know what you might be looking for.

The Basics
1) My services are completely free to buyers. As a real estate agent licensed in Illinois, my commission is always paid by the seller. This is standard in the real estate industry.
2) I won't add you to any distribution list when you contact me, and I won't send unwanted email.
3) You provide your email address, and I will schedule a search to run based on your criteria or the criteria I help you define.
4) I am not selling properties I currently own or have listed. I search the the Multiple Listing Service of Northern Illinois. This is the shared listings of all brokers that are members of the Chicago Association of Realtors, and the surrounding suburban Realtor associations.

Why Chicago?
1) As the third largest city in the US, and a very diverse work force, Chicago provides stability and high income potential.
2) The cost of living is high, but you can still purchase properties at a fair price. You can find properties under $100,000 and empty lots much less.
3) Chicago consists of many neighborhoods. Some are more affluent than others. There are always "up-and-coming" areas with new construction surrounded by older homes.
4) The rental rates are higher than smaller cities, not to mention Section 8 rental rates where most of the rent would come directly from the government.
5) Price appreciation. The housing boom never took Chicago out of control as other areas of the country, but many areas have seen a significant increase.

What do I do to get started?
1) Contact me through the contact form, specifying "BUY" in the drop down.
2) Include your name and email address.
3) Specify what you might be looking for. If you are unsure, provide any information that will help me narrow your requirements.
4) Provide any other questions you would have.
5) I typically respond within 24 hours, and sporadic updates as we progress. Showings are typically done on a Saturday or Sunday.
